The North Augusta Greeneway, named for former North Augusta Mayor Thomas W. Greene, is a 7+ mile paved multi-use trail that meanders through parks and neighborhoods of our community. The trail includes a spur that runs along the Savannah River and through Riverside Village. The Greeneway is open from dusk to dawn. Cyclists, runners, and walkers enjoy this community gem’s shady trees and scenic views.

In addition to being a popular recreation spot, the Greeneway is also excellent for special events. The Palmetto Peach Half Marathon and other charity running and walking events take advantage of the Greeneway annually.
